Ho Chi Minh City - June 6th, 2014, Bridgestone Vietnam (BSTVN) collaborates with our key partner - BVOT Group Co., Ltd (BVOT) to continue announcing the 3rd chain campaign “For Viet Auto Community” in 2014.

In 2013, “For Viet Auto Community” reached some good achievements, and marked our most successful event in field of automobile in Vietnam. The campaign organized six events in four big cities: Ho Chi Minh City, Ha Noi, Can Tho and Buon Ma Thuot.  It also gathered more than 1,600 participants and nearly 900 cars, which were maintained carefully by engineers from Bridgestone Vietnam, Benh Vien O To and other partners. The total amount of 120,000,000 VND from participants was donated to 15 individuals and groups who have contributed to car and transportation community in Vietnam.
 
From that, the chain of campaign “For Viet Auto Community 2014” under “Ngay Hoi Cham Soc Xe – Car Care Day” continuously recognizes the enthusiastic response of the leading partners in the field of automobile and auxiliary industry such as 3M Vietnam, Bosch Vietnam, Liberty Vietnam, Toyota Vietnam…
 
Following its success in 2013, we will bring more and more benefits to the community in this year.
 
The main point in 2014 is that improving quality of services to meet the growing needs of end-users in Vietnam. We continue to accompany automobile community across the country with the desire to duplicate customer trusts, satisfaction, and safety to end-user. Moreover, charity activities are also promoted through “For Viet Auto Community” Fund to contribute more for the society” Mr. Hiroyuki Saito, Managing Manager of Bridgestone Vietnam
 
The detail of program as followings:
-          Car Care Day at Stadium of Military Zone No. 7. HCMC on July, 2014.
-          Car Care Day at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi on November, 2014.

Estimated, on these Car Care days, there will be an impressive number of 2000 participants and 800 vehicles. Thereby, the team of excellent engineers and professional technicians from leading corporations in automobile sector will check, counsel and solve vehicle’s problems, also provide useful and considering information to participants of  preserving and using tires (22% customer comments), care and maintenance cars (32%) as well as how to operate car safely, avoid accidents (24%)…
 
Besides, in this year, UNESCO together joins with the fund “For Viet Auto Community” in charity volunteers to bring the community responsibility commitments from Bridgestone Vietnam and other partners come closer to society. The program will spend entire budget of the Fund ““For Viet Auto Community ” supporting disadvantaged fisherman,  who locate in island regions, or children – victims affected directly or indirectly from tragedy traffic accidents, it is also our responsibility commitment of minimizing traffic accident before its growth recently.
 
With these practical objects, “For Viet Auto Community 2014” continuously received supports from media sponsors such as: VITV, HTV (Ho Chi Minh Television), “Thanh Nien”, “Oto xe may”, “Oto Viet Nam”, “Cong nghiep Oto Vietnam”, “Xe & The thao”, Autonet, Autocar, “Xe & Doi song”, Autodaily and Autovina magazine.

- In 2013, there were 177 domestic and foreign media press reported about the  events “For Viet Auto Community”
- There are 71% of participants are officers, 17% state employees and 12% other component.
- Up to 77% of participants are male, proportion of female is only 23%
