HCMC, 26 June 2013- In the endeavor of community responsibility, Bridgestone Vietnam (BSTVN) has cooperated with BVOT Group (BVOT) to organize the series of seminar “For Vietnamese Automobile Community 2013” throughout the country. The seminar was held for the second time at Buon Me Thuot City with the topic “Tires and essential knowledge on tires” with the participation of more than 100 customers, partners and sponsors.

HCMC, 23 June 2013- In the endeavor of community responsibility, Bridgestone Vietnam (BSTVN) has cooperated with BVOT Group (BVOT) to organize the series of seminar “For Vietnamese Automobile Community 2013” throughout the country. The seminar was held for the second time at Buon Me Thuot City with the topic “Tires and essential knowledge on tires” with the participation of more than 100 customers, partners and sponsors.

According to the survey by BSTVN and BVOT, the vast of majority (90%) of car drivers, who have joined the research, to admit that their knowledge on tires just to be basic or almost not acknowledge. “Tires explosion in high speed? Steering failure on wet road that leads to accidents? Tires replacement? How to ensure the safety throughout driving time for yourself and other passenger? ...” being the questions that have been raised by BSTVN and BVOT to the drivers and the results have been all vague and incoherent.

Because of these reasons, BSTVN has cooperated with BVOT Group and other partners such as Toyota Buon Me Thuot, Liberty Vietnam... to host the program in order with purpose to reduce the traffice accident as well as building a safe and reliable society.
 
In the seminar, the experts from HCMC University of Technology, the technique specialists from BSTVN, the engineers from Toyota Buon Me Thuot have trained participants from not only basic knowledge such as reading the signs on the tires, standard inflation, how to choose and buy tires, but also advanced information on tire balancing, wheealignment, proper rotation of the tires... Especially, participants have been instructed on the most effective reaction when facing the situations including water sliding, losing control, tires exploding, suspension...
 
Besides, participants have involved in participating detaching the tires. Especially, all cars have been driven to the seminar, would be checked and consulted for free by the professional technician team from BSTVN and other partners. The free service to consist measuring tires pressure, to add in cool water, cleaning glasses liquid, checking honks and windshield wiper...
 
Moreover, the total sales of the program tickets would be donated for charity. The program would award scholarships for the 2 most excellent students of the Car Technology Department of Vinasme University, Daklak.
 
The campagin "For Vietnamese Car Community" also brought the meaning of a deep commitment of BSTVN, BVOT and other partners to bring forth positive value for Vietnamese Automobile Community and all for a safer, friendlier Vietnam.
 
The next activity of the campaign will be "The Car Care Day" in Ho Chi Minh City in two days 17-18 August 2013.
