Ho Chi Minh City, October 7th 2015 – As a part of the program "Bridgestone Accompanies with Vietnamese Students", Bridgestone Vietnam organized a seminar and invited over 1,000 students from HCMUTE and the universities in Southern region on October 2nd 2015.
During the seminar, students were given the opportunity to acquire knowledge related to the tire manufacturing process and Bridgestone’s products. Meanwhile, Ms. Duong An Giang - Admin & Accounting Senior Manager of Bridgestone Vietnam, shared information on the company culture and current recruitment trends with the students, and offered job opportunities. At the event, Bridgestone also awarded 30 scholarships to students who had achieved outstanding performance in last school year, as well as to those who are facing financial difficulties.
One of the highlights is the finals of the “Business Morality” presentation contest. Three candidates from prestigious universities joined the contest. Tran Thi Thu Hang – a student from Ho Chi Minh City Open University who won the contest, received high praises from the judges for her clear and stylish presentations.
Bridgestone Vietnam hopes the “Bridgestone Accompanies with Vietnamese Students” seminar will encourage students to contribute more to the country.
