Vietnam, 09 October 2012: Bridgestone Vietnam, a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, the largest firm specialized in producing rubber and tires, launches the campaign called “Tire Safety” with many exciting activities, to educate Vietnamese with both basic knowledge and useful skills on driving.

The issues of Vietnam traffic

Due to its tropical weather with developing infrastructure, Vietnam provides difficulties to vehicles (especially cars) for travelling. The question is how to make it safe to the fullest for trips to bring joy to drivers and their family? “Driving Safety” is the first answer, then maintaining your car and tires are what they should keep their eyes on before driving.
Traffic jam - wet roads – bad road surfaces – small streets and alleys…. - those issues trouble drivers. However, these troubles could be solved when drivers are well-educated with stable driving techniques, good skills of situation control, the habit of checking cars and tires before driving. Serious accidents, usually caused by damages, irregular cracks of tires, ect… can be narrowed down when drivers check his car’s tires evenly.

Drivers, with good knowledge of safe driving, initiates to maintain his car regularly means he protects himself and his public where he is living in and contributes to narrow down the factors of serious accidents with daily basic steps in advance of departure.

In details, the campaign will be held at Driving Test Centers in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in October and November 2012. Besides of truly experiencing at the campaign, the participants will have chances to check out information on how to drive safely to restrain from accidents or even on maintaining schedule for cars and tires – one of the most important matters for safely driving.
 
 

        

A new website of Bridgestone, www.lanbanhantoan.com is introduced with many interesting activities at the same time. Drivers will find it interested in valuable prizes when taking part of online games for relaxing such as “drive safely” game. With this helpful website, Bridgestone is building good interaction between both drivers and the campaign in order to capture on advanced techniques and safe driving knowledge as easily as possible.

In term of the campaign, Bridgestone integrates with Doanh nhan Sai Gon Cuoi Tuan, a weekly magazine to put new column of “Tire Safety” running from 28 September 2012 to 14 December 2012 with awesome illustrated photos which is easy learning and understanding for readers. Moreover, the campaign keeps launching, in the same way, at ‘Ô tô – xe máy’ column on www.vnexpress.net from 3 October 2012 to end December 2012.
