HCMC, August 25th 2015 – Maintaining its growth momentum in Vietnam, Bridgestone Vietnam, a group company of Bridgestone Corporation, the world’s leading rubber and tire company, is pleased to announce the officially inauguration of Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh on 22nd August. This is Danang City’s first-ever Fleet-Point outlet, and expands Bridgestone’s footprint of truck and bus fleet-related services in the Central of Vietnam.
The event was graced by over 200 guests, including valued customers of Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh, as well as Bridgestone Vietnam’s dealers. Fleet-Point incorporates Bridgestone’s global standards for truck and bus fleets, bringing worry-free driving to drivers at national highways and rest stops. The Fleet-Point system was introduced in Vietnam in September 2013. Today, there are 14 Fleet-Points located nationwide across various cities and provinces

Located at the National Highway 1A, Hoa Phuoc Ward, Hoa Vang District (in the South of Qua Giang Bridge) in Danang City, Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh is positioned along a high traffic route utilized by many trucks and buses. This will enable Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh to meet the tyre service demands of customers in Danang City, as well as those of drivers from neighboring provinces.
Apart from meeting the stringent service standards set by Bridgestone Corporation, Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh offers genuine Bridgestone tyres at competitive prices. Services available include tyre checking, nitrogen inflation, wheel alignment and balancing services. Equipped with a state-of-the-art Hunter Alignment WA-360 wheel alignment system from the USA and the Bright balancing machine, Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh is confident of satisfying the operational needs of the most demanding fleet customers.
Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh has the capability to conduct servicing for up to five trailers/ trucks simultaneously, to reduce fleet downtime and time spent waiting for vehicle servicing. Other services available include mobile service, tyre usage and maintenance consulting services. Fleet-Point Ngoc Hanh also have Bridgestone Bandag casing collection service and provide B-Solution packages that bundle multiple services to reduce operational costs while increasing the business efficiency of fleet operators are also available.
According to the General Statistical Office, Vietnam transports approximately 50 million tons of goods via 700,000 trucks annually. In addition, over 90 million people travel in Vietnam via buses and coaches.
