Vietnam, On January 11th 2013 - Bridgestone Tire Sale Vietnam Limited Liability Company (BSTVN) organized the Opening ceremony of Bridgestone Bandag Retread Plant at My Phuoc III Industrial Park (Binh Duong Province). This is the first Bandag plant in Vietnam applies the best and most modern Bandag retread technology.
The world’s top retread tire brand Bandag was under the ownership of Bridgestone Corporation from May, 2007 with the commitment of bringing the best solutions to its customers. Bridgestone Bandag retread tire has many advantages such as casing inspection system, worker friendly layout and safe.
Particularly, the possibility of financial savings is always appreciated. According to the result from Bridgestone’s practical tests in some fleets in Ho Chi Minh City, using Bridgestone Bandag retread tire can save up to 35% of the cost compare with a new one which reduces the cost burden for businesses and ensure the business interests. Besides, Bandag technology also passed all rigorous inspections about safety and environmental friendliness.
The Opening ceremony of the first Bridgestone Bandag Retread plant in Vietnam was honored to welcome Mr. Shinichi Sato – President of Bridgestone Asia Pacific and Mr. Motoki Nagasawa – Managing Director of Bridgestone Vietnam. The Bridgestone Bandag Retread plant with the modern technological chains will implement the entire retread process including: strictly inspect the casing condition, repair damage (if any) of standard casings, applying new tread/curing and finally re-check the entire tire before they are brought to customers. Specialize machinery systems are managed by a team of well-trained technicians in the whole process.

After the opening ceremony, Bridgestone Bandag Retread plant is officially going on business and launching the retread tire for truck and bus. Customer has the demand of using retread tire can refer the official information from Bridgestone’s nationwide dealers.
