The Superrace Championship (also known as the O‑NE Superrace Championship) is South Korea’s premier motorsports series.

Launched in 2006, it’s the country’s largest and most prestigious racing competition, spanning multiple classes. Events are held across top Korean circuits, with unique spectacles like night races, the Asian Motorsports Carnival, and the Motor Festa combining racing and entertainment. These events have pushed motorsports culture in South Korea to new heights.

The roar of these engines and the rush of adrenaline returned to Speedium in Inje, Gangwon-do as Round 4 of the 2025 O-NE Superrace Championship season lit up the track, with the Bridgestone-supported Toyota Prius PHEV Class once again delivering electrifying action.

Bridgestone Drives the Excitement at Speedium

For the second consecutive year, Bridgestone is sponsoring the Prius PHEV Class in the O-NE Superrace Championship with its high-performance sports tyre, POTENZA RE-71RS.

Designed as Korea’s first hybrid one-make race, the Prius PHEV Class has carved a niche of its own, enabling competitors to experience innovations in eco-friendly technology while enjoying intense competition.

From the start till the chequered flag was waved, drivers put on a masterclass in consistency, strategy, and skill. With Bridgestone POTENZA tyres offering optimal grip, durability, and control at their disposal, competitors were able to push the limits lap after lap.

Close battles unfolded across the grid, with split-second decisions and precise manoeuvres keeping spectators on edge.

After an intense battle, Kang Chang-won of Busan Institute of Science and Technology crossed the finish line first with a time of 20:26.468, securing his victory. 

He was followed by Song Hyungjin of Upper Speed and Lee Yul of Redcon Motorsport.
