Think Before You Drive drive is a global road safety initiative which started in 2005 with the goal of promoting simple road safety messages to drivers.

This campaign promotes simple road safety messages:

  • Highlight action that take a few seconds but could save your life
  • Identify the main risk factors that can result .in serious or fatal crashes

The campaign “FOR VIET AUTO COMMUNITY” is a series initiated by Bridgestone Vietnam to offer car users all over the country the basic car caring and maintenance knowledge as well as how to drive car safely. It will help reduce traffic accidents which are becoming complicated in recent times.

The campaign includes continuous activities which communicate various topics about safety driving, tire and essential knowledge; Car care day event taken place from April to December, 2013 in four big cities: Ho Chi Minh city, Ha Noi, Daklak, Can Tho. As a key host, Bridgestone Vietnam cooperates with other donors to help consulting and answering enquiries for valued customers about tire and related issues about other parts of the car.

Joining “FOR VIET AUTO COMMUNITY”, customers will get valuable answers for frequent questions about tire, receive tire checking and tire caring by Bridgestone’s experienced technicians. Besides, customers also get chances to join the changing & maintaining tire practice session. So that, customers will gain essential skills and knowledge to manage car emergency situations by themselves.

The discussion sessions related to tire issues will be hosted by Bridgestone Vietnam in cooperation with professions from specialty faculties of University of Technology to give the customers valuable information with lively illustration. Furthermore, there will be participation of qualified technicians from donors for richer answers during the program.

It is a campaign that brings car users practical knowledge as a contribution to traffic safety and property protection commitment, joining hands with Vietnam auto community for a better traffic. Bridgestone Vietnam will donate total revenue from entrance tickets for social purposes such as charity donation, scholarship for student, ect.
